In 2024, the Systems subsector saw 82 deals followed by the Applications Software subsector at 51 deals, representing 34% and 21% of total M&A volumes in the IoT sector, respectively. Significant activity also occurred in the IT Services & Distribution where there were 47 transactions, representing 20% of total deal volumes. Other noteworthy subsectors include Security, Mobility and Enterprise Networking.
